It's just like pulling teeth. Christopher is doing real well after having all 4 wisdom teeth extrated yesterday morning. It was so quick I was still on the phone with the insurance company when he was ready to go.

So Much

The Lords blessings are so real. He lets me give to him my burdens and allows me to see the blessings I have.
It is my turn to count.

Important events in our lives really allow us to study ourselves and find out more deeply who we are and more importantly who's we are. In reflecting I found what I wrote back in highschool.
Life is a time, when we should try to be the best we can be.
It is a goal, a dream
To be shared with those whom we love
And in a way we our proud to remember.
As I think back on my childhood I know that I made many mistakes. At times I seemed to favor the ones that could be seen by anyone driving past our house. I was a little crazy. What was I thinking?

One day my Mother shared with me a quote from Relief Society that went like this:
Don't put off what you want MOST
for what you want right NOW.
this quote became a big deal to me. I began to think about what I wanted most. I began to understand that the things that brought me saddness were the things that I thought I wanted right now.
I began to realize that I didn't have to learn the hard way. I began to put away the crazy steph in order to find out who I could be.

No matter all my mistakes I know that my Father in Heaven loves me. He loves all his children more than we can comprehend. He knows our potential. He provides for each of us perfectly.

Teach me to walk in the light of his love.
Teach me to pray to my Father above.
Teach me to know of the things that are right,
Teach me, Teach me, to walk in the light.

Come little child and together we' ll learn
of his commandments that we may return
home to his presence to live in his sight
always always to walk in the light.

Father in Heaven we thank thee this day
For loving guidance to show us the way
Grateful we praise thee with songs of delight
Galdly, gladly we'll walk in the light.

The happiest times of my life are the times when I put him first.

I caught my first fish ever

Rainbow trout...we came home with our limit of twelve today as I am in training with the best for the ......the way of the fish. It was a beautiful day out (72~) We drove out to Canyon Lake about an hour away with our kayaks for a Valentines day date. When we got there the water looked muddy with debree floating on it. We kayaked to what has become our usual route until we could see fish and then decided to get out on to the shore. Being the extreme fisher"wow"man that I am, I decided that my lead fishing line was too long for the water we were fishing in and brought in the line to shorten it and when I had succeeded at doing so the hook swung and snagged my shirt right in the middle of my chest all the way through to the layers underneath (Coordination on the dance floor does not equal coordination with a fishing pole) so Steve was coming to my rescue and just as he was getting out of his kayak where I was I got unhooked. (I was determind that I did not need help getting hooked so I should be able to also get unhooked independantly) those hooks are beastly little things. More dangerouse than quilting needles. Steve is thinking about starting up fly fishing, so I think you should all be very worried when I am his fishing buddy. Anyway back to the deal from there we decided to climb a few rocks to get to this really cool spot where the water was so clear (forgot to bring the camera) that we could see to the bottom of the lake and schools of fish. Now you may feel a bit bad for these little fish that I caught but I fed them real good before I actually caught any and now they will feed me. I have not yet determind if I have fishing fever as I will not do any of the dirty work....that is where I need support services.
Things are looking more green out in the desert these days, so we may have some pretty desert flowers to look forward to in the spring time.
