We were able to spend some special time together on my birthday.

Aug 4 Back to School

This is what the first day back to school looked like for us teachers. We were able to begin in the new government room. I work with an amazing group of people, at a great school. I am so grateful for my job.

Nana's Visit

We were very blessed to have Nana time this summer at such important junctures in the lives of each of us here in the desert crew. My floors have never been cleaner at the Resort. Steves shirts and our pillowcases are nicely pressed and the puppies a little more spoiled.

Tt goes to the T

On Friday July 16th 2010 it was

Timothie's special day at the Temple.

We are getting ready for our Hermana Maughan

she has 52days until she will fly out for the Provo MTC

Her mission farewell from the Desert Wells Ward will be on

August 29th, at 1:00pm.

We have enjoyed this extra time with her being home since Christmas time. She has been working so hard in her college classes and has also been taking summer classes while working full time.

When she returns from her mission she will only have 12 credits left

for her bachelors degree in Speech Communications.

She will then be an Assistant Speech Pathologist and has plans to get her Masters Degree

to become a Speech Pathologist.

We are excited for you Timothie!!!!

Christopher turned 19 years old.

Timothie planned a great paint adventure.

Friends came over to celebrate.

Playing fun group games and going for a swim

Tuesday July 7th at 8:30pm 

President Moyers 1st counselor in our Stake Presidency came over

to set Christopher apart for his mission to Raleigh, North Carolina.

Bishop Gordon and Sister Bishop as we like to call her

 came by with a hymn book.

And now he shall be known of as........Elder Maughan

We woke up at 4:00 am and I made Elder Maughan a poached egg on toast.

Steve helped finish up with the final items to be packed 

and loaded the suitcases into the van.

At 4:50 after family prayer we set off for the airport.

Now is a time of new beginnings...

Wow that 19 years flew by. As I write this I know you are now in the MTC

and I wonder...hey, what did you have for lunch? How was the flight?

Did you sit by the other Elders on the plane?

Did you laugh? Did you cry?

I'm so very excited for you and I just want to know everything.

That is just the way I will always be...your Momma...no matter how old you get.

Thank you for all that you have taught me. I LOVE YOU!
