We We We all the way Home

We woke up Sunday Morning and Steve said how about we go see Timothie for the day. So we quickly got ready for an earlier church and left to see our girl in her college town. Timothie gives the best hugs ever! It is so fun to hear the stories our children share when we are all together. This has been a very difficult season in our lives but we do know that a HOME is where WE are, and the times when we are all together are so precious. We may not have it all together, but together we have it all. We are FAMILY!

A tender mercy - the Family getaway

Fred and Wilma had a chance to go to LA this weekend with the kids. Steve had planned the trip with Timothie for my birthday and then it just started working out that the kids would be available to go as well. We spent the day at Universal Studios and the next day at the beach. It may seem odd to put Mikes toe in there but it prevented him from working and allowed us to go. He has to have part of the nail removed on Friday. I may try to add more photos later ...TTFN

San Diego

So we are very blessed to have a visitor from the great white north. Litttle Mama.
Doubly blessed to visit with Timothie
Triple blessed to fly to San Diego with Mom to spend a few days with her sister Peggy's family.
While we were there....we went shopping, eat ice cream, black licorice, salad, cup cakes and birdnests. We played a game, read, watched a so you think you can dance...
but best of all was seeing everyone again. My cousins made special efforts to bring their families for a family dinner friday night.

We had a lot of really great chats. Laughed and Learned.

This could be a new family tradition! ?

Dog Gone Kayak

It was time for an outing as I finished up my 6 hour a day college class. For Fathers day weekend I wanted to take Steve to do some of his favorite things. We made a very bold attempt to go camping and there was no room at the campground...so we made the most of a day trip. Steve caught his limit of fish...various sizes and 3 different types to put them all back.
Rodney, Baxter and I met up with our tour guides Mr. and Mrs. Mallard. They stayed with us for most of our tour. We also saw 3 storks. There was no barking until it was time to leave and they saw there own kind at the dock.
This was their second trip kayaking, so they new what was going on! The first time they dove in a few times. This time they sat on a favorite blanket and soaked in the scenery as drops of water would fall on them from the paddle. Had it been hotter out I think they may have gone for a dip.
It is nice to be together and hear the sounds of nature all around us.

Ventures' Adventures

Well the boys are back from the adventure. Here are some of the best photos. Enjoy the amazing wonders of creation. They sure did!

Remember Him

3 Nephi 17:17
"...no one can concieve of the joy which filled our souls at
the time we heard him (Jesus) pray for us unto the Father."

3 Nephi 17:20 - 21
"...he said unto them: Blessed are ye because of your faith.
And now behold, my joy is full.

..and he took their little children, one by one,
and blessed them, and prayed unto the Father for them.

What would he say in his prayers for you?

When we show our FAITH in him...he feels JOY.

We strive to follow his example.

Springbreak

For Spring Break we made plans as a family for a visit to see our girl, then unexpectedly Christopher had a basketball game beginning the club season, and with Michael now official to drive we decided to leave the boys at home, go on our own and celebrate our anniversary.
21 years this Thursday...that's how old we are.
Timothie is working hard in school and doing real well at her new job. When we left she recieved great reviews in writing! All of which were TRUE. We sure miss her.
I'm just so thankful to have a sweet family.

Car Tatoo

We were wondering if maybe we found the Heinzlmeirs on our quick trip to Sedona....
Hope your trip to Utah was fantastic.
