Shinning Stars

Look Who's Cooking..

The boys decided it would be fun to have Chef Steve cook Italian Chicken Bryan for prom dinner, he was happy to do it. He did a superb job and it was a great start to their evening. It was nice to be apart of their fun. We then took pictures with some of the other parents.
What a great group! Well mannered, beatutiful, and happy to spend time together. They had been at Sun Splash earlier in the day for the day date I'm sure they will all sleep well after the dance tonight.

Cherish the Love

"Cherish the Love we have we should cherish the life we live. Cherish the Love, cherish the love, cherish the love...."
Steve asked me to marry him as that song was playing and my first reply was "are you serious?" (this was due to the I can't believe I'm doing this look on his face:) Then 3 months later we sat outside the sealing room letting the moment sink into our souls as we anticipated the right words to be said. Everyday since it is our goal to say the right words, do the right things and pray for guidance. Marriage is 100% effort - 100% of the time. I am grateful that I found that special person who will say Whatever it takes and then do it... as I strive to be that person also.

A Big Fish

Well I will not say there are NO fish in Arizona though one may often think it. Look at the biggest fish Steve ever caught! I understand it took about an hour to bring to shore as it was fully immersed in the water. A fishing pole is a small price to pay for Kayak number 5.
Congratulations Baby!

Remember Him

3 Nephi 17:17
"...no one can concieve of the joy which filled our souls at
the time we heard him (Jesus) pray for us unto the Father."

3 Nephi 17:20 - 21
"...he said unto them: Blessed are ye because of your faith.
And now behold, my joy is full.

..and he took their little children, one by one,
and blessed them, and prayed unto the Father for them.

What would he say in his prayers for you?

When we show our FAITH in him...he feels JOY.

We strive to follow his example.

Springbreak

For Spring Break we made plans as a family for a visit to see our girl, then unexpectedly Christopher had a basketball game beginning the club season, and with Michael now official to drive we decided to leave the boys at home, go on our own and celebrate our anniversary.
21 years this Thursday...that's how old we are.
Timothie is working hard in school and doing real well at her new job. When we left she recieved great reviews in writing! All of which were TRUE. We sure miss her.
I'm just so thankful to have a sweet family.
