Busy Times

April 29th. The dance concert was very enjoyable; maybe because most of the little glitches that come with the territory of having 170 teenagers backstage were delayed to my attention for Monday morning, maybe because we had a nice big stage to perform on again this sememster which meant 2 shows instead of 6. I have found that the concerts are very theraputic rather like moving furniture and spring cleaning. This was the 12th dance concert for the school and I feel so grateful to work with such amazing young ladies at such a unique school. A one of a kind fit. I am also thankful for a supportive family, encouraging friends and Heavens help. I could not do this with out the team.

Her is a view of some of the students I have the opportunity to work with. More pictures of other classes will be in some upcoming blog. This weekend I am off to get my continuing education credits accomplished for my Fitness Certification....I'm thinkin I may explore teaching some fitness classes and dance classes during the summer.

180th Conference and Tender Mercies

We experienced some tender mercies last weekend as were able to attend the 180th Semi-Annual World Wide Conference for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
We were in attendance at the Saturday and Sunday Morning Sessions, as well Steve and Christopher were also able to attend the Priesthood session. While the boys were away the girls were at play preparing Easter eggs, and sneeking preparations for a little Birthday Party for Steve.

And I shouldn't forget the fashion show.
We had great seats on the terrace level, a super cool parking spot, safe and guided travel. When we left Steve's sisters home on sunday morning a layer of icy rain was covering the ground. As we drove on the freeway we found closed roads, wrecked vehicles, police cars and tow trucks, which caused us to take a big detour out to the airport and back in on a different road. Yet we were safe and on time for our seats, with our parking spot still available.
Then we had another little miracle as Baxter dug a hole from under my girlfriend Marie's fence to check out her neigborhood. She treats my dog like her own and i felt so bad when she called so upset that she was unable to find him after looking for 3 hours. It was about 10:30pm and we were just getting gas outside of Pheonix when we recieved her call. We all got off the phone to have a prayer...as certain parts of talks ran through my mind....and 15 minutes later Marie called back to say she had heard him crying and scratching noise from inside her neigbors garage. He was found!!!
A testimony of God's love for us all...even little critters.
We were all so grateful for the blessings we had recieved.
