Well the kids grow up and want to play with there friends as much as possible so Steve and I have decided to get our own FUN goin on...check out our new Kayaks. We have been looking for the right deal for about a year now, so we feel we were shown a little tender mercy. I told Steve his is the one with a little more Red in it and mine is the one with a little more Yellow. They are ocean (fishing) kayaks.
Today Steve gave fishing a try but they didn't like the menu plan today! I don't have any cool pictures with Steve and his fishing gear because I did not want to risk getting the camera wet. On the lake we went on an adventure to the end on one side to see where it led. There was a moment where all we could hear was a bird in the sky as we coasted in between a huge rocky canyon. In the evening Steve and Chris participated in a talent show and then we sat around an actual camp fire while people in the ward played guitar and sang. We had a very enjoyable time.

CaLIFORNia
Here are a few pictures of the Catalina trip with 45 teenagers and 4 adults including myself. I must admit by the last night...and lacking a bit of sleep I began acting just like them for a moment or two while at a mexican restaurant in a place called Old Town. Sights we visited included the JPL, Universal City Walk, Bubba Gumps, Tar Pits, Catalina, The Discovery Center, Medieval Times and Sea World. Take note that I stayed in the MGM Grand and showered 3 times the whole week. They tell me the ocean is the biggest bath tub.

The Mansion
Crazy times require creativity...
We put our home on the market Friday.
This as you know is not a sellers market.
We decided to look creatively into less debt.
Houses take about 318 days to sell right now.
There are some really great deals out there...so we decided to think about possibilities.
This gives me a great excuse to give you a bit of a tour as we have not had visitors.
Our last home I called Cabin #1 and if I were to name this home it may be called the Mansion ...or the great and spacious kitchen.
We do love it!
this blogging is driving me crazy because I can't seem to move my pictures where I want them...
