BLESSINGS!

 It is the Fishfinder 150

Little Lamb

I have a new appreciation for how gentle these little creatures are.
As we sit back stage we can hear the soft baa, when they are seperated at times when some go on stage and some stay behind the scenes the babies will call out and the mother will call back.
It touches my heart and brings new understanding to scriptures that refer to the sheep and the shepherds.

A Priceless Opportunity

I am very blessed to have the opportunity to participate in the Mesa Arizona Easter Pageant this year.
With about 450 cast members and and additional 400 crew members all involved to make this largest outdoor Easter Pageant in the world. This first week of April we are reminded of the Saviors birth over 2000 years ago. In participating in this pageant I am grateful for the insights that come into my heart and mind. My testimony of the Plan of Salvation first came in watching a musical theatre production called My Turn On Eath as I sat there with my Parents and Grandparents I understood in a very personal way what this plan meant to me. I would not have come to this understanding in any other way..
I know the power of the Arts in portraying things of great importance to the heart.

On our first day of practice March 25th the first new friend I met was from Southern Alberta. Doreen and her husband are here for the winter. We are in the scene called Healing and Teaching.
I play the role of the Mother of Nain, my son has died and we are in a funeral procession as Jesus Christ sees my grief and raises my son from the dead. Doreen plays the role of a mourner with me in this scene. It is thought that this may be the first person Christ raises from the dead in his ministry.
May we all enjoy this special Easter Season
as we reflect on the Savior Jesus Christ his life, teachings and mission here on earth.

Time with my Best Friend

Spring in the air
We make a great pair
Back for a visit from where we began
This is the place!
We saw beautiful art work at the BYU Museum.
It's a beautiful testimony in pictures that say so much more than words can.

This picture touched my heart as I was listening to a tour with an Ipad and hearing Neil A. Maxwell talk of the Saviors experience in Gethsemene for each one of us.

WOW

Today my heart is so full of gratitude for theTestimony I have of our Heavenly Fathers Plan for all of his children.
Mosiah 4:6, 9-10, 11-12
"I say unto you, if ye have come to a knowledge of the goodness of God and his matchless power, and his wisdom, and his patience, and his long suffering towards the children of men; and also, the atonement which has been prepared from the foundation of the world, that thereby slavation might come to him that should put his trust in the Lord, and should be diligent in keeping his commandments, and continue in the faith even unto the end of his life, I mean the life of the mortal body Believe in God; believe that he is, and that he created all things, both in heaven and in earth; believe that he has all power, both in heaven and in earth; believe that man doth not comprehend all the things which the Lord can comprehend. And again, believe that ye must repent of your sins and forsake them, and humble yourselves before God; and ask in sincerity of heart that he would forgive you: and now, if you believe all these things see that ye do them...if ye have known of his goodness and have tasted of his love, and recieved a remmission of your sins, which causeth such exceeding great joy in your souls, even so I would that you should remember, and always retain in remembrance, the greatness of God...calling on the name of the Lord daily, and standing steadfastly in the faith of that which is to come...if ye do this ye will always rejoice, and be filled with the love of God,.."

I have tasted of God's love and it causes me to have such great joy in my soul.
I know that I am nothing without God, but that with him I can do all things that he would have me do.
I know that I need him in all the details of my life.
Family is....
The reason why our Heavenly Father's Plan means so much to me!
I am grateful to know that families are ment to last forever.
Grateful that I know where and how to recieve these great gifts...so that I can be working towards them everyday.

I am thankful for the BREATH of LIFE, here and now.
Thankful to share life with wonderful family and friends, near and far.
WOW. The world is a beautiful place when we see it through the eyes of gratitude.

Up Up and Over There....

Life is like a hot air balloon ride...
It is about the entire journey, the ups and the downs, the highs and the lows.
The sights and the sounds...beginnings, endings and all that is in between.
Making the most out of each moment...

Goodbye Man Van

One step toward becoming an empty nester is to sell the family van after 9 years.
I have a vivid memory of arriving in the desert as a family in the van (July 2002)
while listening to the music from the movie "Spirit".
The children have grown so fast...is seems like a dream.
I am so grateful that I never wished any days away in my young peoples lives.
 I love being a Mom.
During the kids high school days the van became known as the
 MAN VAN
say what they may it provided a safe ride for all 3 who learned to drive in it.
 It did a great job.
Grateful.
Now we hope it will continue to do a great job for the
Mom of 4 boys who just bought it this weekend.
SOOOO it is now time to find Steve a
Ford F-150...
and were gonna catch an extremely nice one, for a great price soon.
Did you know Steve thinks that the F...stands for FISH -150 times/ year?
(we may have to call it the fish finder...)
